Our Frutto Madama Oliva line includes Frutto D’Italia, Frutto D’Italia D.O.P. and Frutto del Mediterraneo.

In the Frutto D’Italia Line, the taste journey begins with the narrow valleys and steep slopes of Western Liguria, continues on the foothills of the Lepini and Aurunci Mountains, reaches over the hills of Abruzzo and extends across Apulia to the sun-drenched lands of Sicily.

In Liguria, we find the flavoursome Taggiasca olive, in Abruzzo and Central Italy, the popular Leccino, in Lazio, the Itrana, the olive most used by chefs in international cuisine, in Puglia, the Cerignola, the largest olive in the world, and, in Sicily, the distinct varieties of Nocellara Etnea and Castelvetrano.

Each territory, with its own peculiarities and variety, produces olives that stand out due to their uniqueness, authenticity, flavour and proportions.

In the Frutto D’Italia D.O.P. Line, the natural, green and black Nocellara del Belice variety olives come from an area spread over the Sicilian provinces of Palermo, Trapani and Agrigento. Situated at the heart of the Mediterranean, the Belice Valley enjoys a particular microclimate of optimal conditions for the cultivation of these PDO olives. Also part of this line of olives is the Olive di Gaeta D.O.P.. Gaeta is recognized as the reference point in a production basin that expands across several neighbouring communities. The PDO (or D.O.P.) designation, acronym for Protected Designation of Origin, is attributed to olives that possess peculiar and exclusive qualitative characteristics dependent on the specific territory in which they are produced.

In the Frutto del Mediterraneo Line, there are the large green olives of the Chalkidiki Peninsula, a Greek territory formed by three tongues of land stretching out into the Aegean Sea, which produces large olives famed all over the world for their appreciable proportions.

These olives are distinguished by their large size, high quality, rich and juicy flesh and distinctive flavour.
