These olives are only grown in the area around Castelvetrano, in the Sicilian province of Trapani. They are crunchy and meaty with a mild, fruity flavour, also perfect when pitted.

The noble and ancient olive of Sicily

Castelvetrano olives are harvested before fully ripening, between the end of September and October when the flesh is compact and bright green. They grow in an ideal environment near the temples of Selinunte and just a short distance from the sea which enhances their delicate flavour and firm texture.

Serving suggestion

Green Pitted Castelvetrano Olives are ready to be enjoyed at any time: excellent on their own as a snack, perfect in appetisers with cold cuts and cheeses, or as a fresh, delicious ingredient in salads, first courses, and main fish dishes and typical Sicilian-style sides.
