Sustainable
supply chain
We are committed to ensuring a sustainable supply chain, not just for olives but for every raw material we use. Each step of the process, from cultivation to harvesting and transformation, is designed to reduce the environmental impact, respect natural resources and promote ethical farming practices. We collaborate with select suppliers who share our same sustainability values. This ensures a transparent and responsible production cycle.
Certified ISO 14000
and EMAS since 2004
Since 2008, thanks to one of the largest integrated photovoltaic systems registered in Italy, we self-generate 2.3 million KW/year of electricity. This is the equivalent of saving 1.2 tonnes of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere per year.
All production processes are automated and optimised to reduce consumption and waste sorting makes it possible to limit waste produced and send as much as possible for recycling or reuse.
We continuously research environmentally sustainable materials and packaging, so that product lines with a lower environmental impact are placed on the market. We worked closely with Veolia (French multinational specialised in the management of water, waste and energy services) to design and create the new wastewater treatment plant, to overhaul the industrial water cycle so as to reduce its consumption and move towards the zero liquid discharge (ZLD) model

In line with our commitment to reduce our environmental impact, we have implemented initiatives to make transport more sustainable. We are mindful of the importance of adopting low-carbon solutions and want to constantly improve the efficiency of our means of transport.
- Optimisation of journeys: we use advanced technologies to plan more efficient journeys and reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.
- Collaboration with green suppliers: we choose partners that share our values, opting for transportation services providers that use ecological and certified solutions.
- Smart logistics: we adopt sustainable logistics strategies, such as reducing empty journeys and the consolidation of shipments, to optimise our transport and reduce traffic and pollution.
