The olives donated by Apollo
According to the myth, the first Italian land to receive the sacred tree was Sicily thanks to Aristeo, son of Apollo, who introduced its cultivation and taught local populations how to process the fruit.
Harvested early, the Nocellara Etnea Olives are cut, crushed and seasoned during processing with oil, spices, hot sauce and garnished with whole chillies so that everything joins the pulp creating a unique, slightly bitter taste.
